I don't know for sure. However, I would assume you need to show a DL and a credit card. They need the CC in case you wreck the car. As for the reservation, if you really want an upgrade, you are best off doing it in advance. Otherwise they could be sold out. If you don't mind taking a chance on a car not being there then wait til you get there and it might be cheaper. Remember though, that if they don't have the car you reserved, they owe you a better car at the same price.
